IS IT ETHICAL TO VOTE FOR A BILL YOU HATE, BECAUSE YOUR PARTY LIKES IT?

[+] serious ballot by herzog
created Wed Nov 15, 06

"Rep. John Murtha (D-Pa.) told a group of Democratic moderates on Tuesday that an ethics and lobbying reform bill being pushed by party leaders was “total crap,” but said that he would work to enact the legislation because Speaker-to-be Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) supports it."

Is this ethical for him to do?

Yes, ethical
No, not ethical
Depends on why you hate it

lobbying reform is "total crap"???
I'd think anything to do with regulating the Total Crap that's happened with lobbying would just be ethical, not crap.
I guess the fact that someone's even IN politics means they'll be glad to sell out the American public to fat cats like that Enron guy. I bet he'll get out after a year, if that, a few months he'll spend at a minimum security jail.. like a vacation.. from screwing people.

It's unethical if you're voting against the platform that your constituents elected you on.

What your party thinks should be moot.

"Ethical"? What have they got to do with politics? What have they got to do with life at all, herzog? You seem to want to give the impression that you are knowledgable when it comes to politics, but then you come up with a ballot like this. I find it very odd.
