He'd probably clean up the dirt and take out the trash of that organization.
Sounds like a good idea. It would get him away from his computer keyboard, and he'd lend a sympathetic ear to tall tales of WMD and yellowcake from wherever.
He is certainly vary critical of the UN (often rightly so) and he is very good at pointing out its flaws. Is he any good at recommending how to improve the UN? I don't know. If the UN is looking for someone to criticise it then Herzog’s the man for the job. If the UN is looking for someone who believes in its potential and can lead it forward and improve it, then no I don’t think Herzog is your man.

He gets my vote !
Umm, these ballots are getting a bit gay now..
His resume would be a blank sheet of paper
Naughty naughty, this should be a private ballot...
He has my vote.
Voted : Yes
absolutely! but, he may be too honest for the job. thats a pretty big snake pit and herzog might just be too good for that post. but, if he's up for it, i say yes!
cathexis? you have to be joking. nothing at all would get done. nada. zip. zilch.
I think he would just dismantle the UN, he critizes, but he's not a man of diplomacy, he'd start wars

I would be tempted to oversee its demise. But if I had absolute control to get things reorganized then I'd keep it around. First off, all you tinpot dictators, out. You can hang around and listen, but you get no vote. Any government that is not a respresentative democracy with a reasonable adherence to human rights, you can bitch and moan all you want but you aren't getting any say in the way the world is run. That alone solves most of their problems. Get a union of democracies, actually committed to ending war, promoting freedom and prosperity and something good may come of this. Otherwise, well, anyone who has been paying attention knows what the result is. Aya: are you saying there aren't plenty of wars now, with the UN and kofi running the show?
Voted : Yes
Hell, I'll even enlist to run the UN Navy under him, as long as I have first-strike authorization.
Truth, if I ran the UN first strikes would be mandatory for all military units, for any situation.
Steelhamster - Is it? I've never done a ballot like this before. I just categorised it as 'other'. lil_ape - yeah, these types of ballots are a bit silly. But what is surprising is that this ballot has received so many votes in such a short amount of time...
Voted : No, the position requires intelligence and credentials
If by "secretary general" you mean "strung up by his feet over alampost and given the "full Mussolini Treatment", then I suppose the answer is Yes, he SHOULD be the Secretary Genaeral of the UN.
