I say this because I believe wholeheartedly that the vast majority of people who have earned their way to having wealth would do so again if they had to. You will find that the majority of millionaires made their money after failing at least once or twice before finding success. I also believe that there are those people out there who are simply content to live with next to nothing, on minimum wage, without enough ambition to ever attain wealth, beyond buying the weekly lottery ticket of course.
^ True. Wealth distribution sounds nice and fair, but those who want it back will get it. And there's alot out there too that either literally wouldnt know what to do with the money or use it for wastefull/harmful means. Which is not fair really because it's wasting money.
A true communist wrote this ballot.
The world would be closer to equilibrium but a perturbation of that magnitude would take longer than 10 years to return to a stable state.
I somehow doubt hurricane and Civilian bothered reading anothing other than the title of the ballot. If either would have read the description or comment they would have realized I'm anything BUT a communist.
xmas is such a prosperous time of year, that big red commie coming down the chimney to redistribute all the toys ... "look mommy I got a hammer! What's in this sickle shaped box ... " We all know it's Fidel. ; )
Voted : That same 10% is going to have 90% of the money again.
Because the smarts-slash-cons they used to *get* the money will get it right back for them.
I think what you are describing is akin to Socialism. Unfortunately, as good as it sounds, it just wouldn't work. For one thing, the encentive to better yourself would be elimanated and thus the workforce would be practically useless.
