An editorial in the Lexington Herald-Leader (Lexington, KY) is titled:

"Hippies still trying to ruin the country."

The editorial starts out: "America won't win another war until the 1960s flower children are pushing up petunias."

The article goes on to shriek things like: "It's crucial that we come to terms with war questions because we will have war with Iran and North Korea. It will come down to their children or ours, their soldiers or ours, their countries or ours."

The basic theme of the articles is that middle-aged hippies are to blame for all the problems America faces.

When I go to certain places in Cambridge (the place is packed with them) and I'm in the presence of a group of hippies, neo-hippies, and residual-hippies, they're so different from me, I swear I feel like I'm in a foreign country.
They're not ruining the country, though.
