What about gentoo? Forget all the other small time distros, other than the few you've mentioned, gentoo has to be on that list.
Well, you can go to gentoo.org and find out yourself. Personally, I have nothing to do with it's development.
After using RedHat, SUSE, Slackware, Debian and Xandros.... Mandrake is the best for me.

Linux absolutely SUCKS.
It was,is, and remains, completely inhuman and user-UNfriendly, at least by the average reasonably-intelligent human. Ubuntu 6.10 is a great system, just don't try to install or UNinstall anything.
