My hubby actually trained his cat to go to the toilet.
Now whether or not that was a result of suggestions made by the cat, I really have no idea.

Made sense,too. It's not that dificult.
It's really not. It basically involves putting something flat between the toilet and the seat (something that will hold the cat's weight) and putting litter on it. Show it to him and he should get up there and use the bathroom when he has to next. After enough times, take the litter away. Then after that, take the flat thing away. They're pretty much forced to use it in the toilet or fall in.
