Voted : Yes, a phased withdrawal is what is needed
Iraqis don't seem to want us there. Iraqi troops would have advantages over American troops in solving their problems.

There's no point in prolonging the inevitable...the only difference is how many more lives will be lost to in a impossible situation that has evolved consistently to avoid the realization the entire venture has been a failure...
*how many more lives will be lost in an impossible*
I don't know. We're slowly all realizing that our WAR there has been a failure, but it'll be a double failure now if we don't somehow protect Iragi civilians. I think we should spend whatever we have to now to help them.

There should be an immediate withdrawal of American Troops. This nonsense about cut and run is nothing more than a ploy to keep the American people in sheep mode. The U.S. will never win the War on Terrorism as long as the U.S. Government continues to support Israel (the second most deadly Terrorist group). I support the Troops and others who are putting their well being on the line, and yes, I can do so without supporting the misfit that ordered the invasion of Iraq based on a lie. Our Men, Women and Children are being killed to bring freedom to the Iraqi people, when did we as a nation developed a conscience about the well being of Muslims? Seriously, we constantly cater to Israel, when did we find the time to care about Muslims...Bring the Troops home.

It's the closest thing to sanity from inside the Beltway I've heard in many a moon.
