You means theirs someother kind of business?
there are plenty of ethical business run by honest people. you shouldn't group them together, much like you shouldn't group all blacks with gangs or all muslims with terrorists.

Not saying it's a matter of ethics, the cost of goods and services are well above what most of the people I know can eke out and Professional Services are a luxury few can afford.

I believe any one who's ever bought a car especially before the age of the internet got taken at least once..where else can a product lose $5,000 worth of value just by driving it off the lot ??? that's just for starters...to watch the Government stand by and allow certain practices to flourish (credit card rates and penalties for example) is really mind boggling...
Then, there's the insurance businesses...some are totally rip off artists...but heavy advertising keeps "fresh meat" signing up...

The only insurance product I buy is the one dictated by law: 3rd.Party coverage for my vehicle. Were it not for that, Insurance would not see one red cent of mine. I look fwd. to the global collapse of the worldwide insurance industry, some happy day when serious catastrophe strikes and bottoms out the re-insurers. There's gonna be a lotta weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth, I assure you, but I will be laughing!
Anyone who ever bought a diamond GOT RIPPED OFF. They're hunks of CARBON, fer Chrissake, but DeBeers has bullshitted your woman and you into believing that chip of compressed carbon is all kindsa symbolic BS. Forever...a symbol of Love... - a symbol of how well Marketing Bullshit can capitalise on silly human emotions!

Never had to deal one-on-one with any company in particular on a business matter. Back when I did, those companies already had set contracts, and honored them admirably.
