I can't think of any choices I'd like to add on my own so, of the three posited, I'll run with gun control, and again have a laugh at those who believe that they're capable of handling that gun when it's life-death-in-their-faces...

It was never an issue until the 60s when members of the civil rights movement took up arms. Uh oh! The blacks have guns! Momma Government didn't like that one bit. You want to control someone, the first thing you do is take away their means to protect and defend themselves.
Truthseeker, not everyone that owns a gun is an inbred hick, thug, or incapable of making a split second decision. As much as the media likes to play on the issue, gun owners aren't as dumb as incapable as they would have you to believe.
