Murder has a thousand mitigating factors to them.
Was the person crazy, was he poor, was he a disenfranchised minority, were any of the cops who arrested him ever caught saying something racist, etc? Any of these will get you off the hook in their eyes.
But racism, there is no excuse and the mere accusation is all the proof that is needed to completely blacklist someone.

I've seen alot more sympathy from the left for murderers like tookie williams (4 cold blooded murders), OJ simpson (he stabbed his wife to death, he admitted it recently) and other black murderers than I have ever seen for racists.

Hm. A difficult question, this. Depending on whereabouts in the world you are, or possibly on your ethical stance, "murder" can range from abortion or causing death by dangerous driving right up to cold-blooded, premeditated killing. And racism can be anything from chuckling at a joke about Chinamen to openly promoting a supremacist agenda.
So where does that leave us? Is abortion less evil than a Klan rally? Yes, in my opinion.
Is the joke about black people wearing baggy trousers less evil than a school shooting? Again, yes.
So what's the answer? There isn't one. I reckon we should make up our own minds for each situation.

It's your assessment that Liberals support policies conducive to global warming, pro choice and affirmative action, and that's stupid and misguided, correct? Also, moderates and conservatives bare no responsibility for the three previously mentioned, nationally accepted policies because the liberal minority high jacked congress and over wrote the democratic process, enacted laws suited to their own agenda, so Herzog could bitch about them.
Is this your excuse for calling 31 Million people 'stupid and misguided', when Moderate and Conservative voters represent 79% of the voting public and liberals are a minority at 21%?
