Yes it is a cult. It has been a while since the pope decided to own a secret cruise liner, it is only accessable to top grade scientologists (i.e those who invest a lot of money. I mean, it is a little strange using a cruise ship as a secret training base lol. then add all the harassments, threats, digging up dirt, disconnections, being stalked, having your hotel room raided, having strangers come to your friends and relatives house asking about you... need i go on. It isn't exactly the sort of behavier you expect from a "religion" that is supposed to be helping you hmmm. I believe in people's right to believe in what they want and i have my own faith different from the norm but this is sick brain washing that destroys families, steals peoples money and above all is completely unconvincing... i mean Xenu the alien lord, pull the other one! I'd rate it close to Satanism in terms of down right sinisterness.

I always thought that cults were directed by someone or those who at least believed what he or she was doing. I don't think L Ron Hubbard believed one bit in scientology. I think he was laughing all the way to the bank at the nincompoops who paid big bucks for his gibberish. Scientology is not a cult, IMO; it is a SCAM.
