If palestine were to give up their jihad against Israel, accept that Israel is there to stay, and forget their dreams of finishing hitlers grande scheme then they could be at peace.
They could have peace today if they wanted it.

There was precious little conflict between Arabs & Muslims until the establishment of the Israeli state in Palestine in 1947 - which, given that Jews had been absent from the area since Roman times, was seen as another example of Western imperialism by the indigenous Arabs who have historically been given little reason to trust the West. And subsequent decades' worth of unmitigated US support for Israel has proved them right.

I know I've recounted this before, but that was at least a year ago, if memory serves, so here goes.
I knew a Saudi man back when I was in college, and I once asked him, "If there were a way for Israel and Palestine to exist, separate and equal, each havign lands of their own and *not dependent* on each other in the least, *never having to see one another again*, would you still want to see Israel destroyed?" His answer, without pause, "Yes." When I asked him why, "They're Jews. All Jews must die."
The Israelis will never stop manipulating the Palestinians and the Americans. They will never stop provoking the Muslims into violence and they will never stop conning the Americans into supporting them.
Of course, the real answer is to send a peacekeeping force made up of neocons into the area. They would keep the Palestinians in line.

Gaza, the west bank, the golan heights, etc have all been laid on the negotiating table from time to time, and the Israelis have never done anything to suggest they would reneg on their promises. These deals always ended in palestine declaring a new intifida, which of course put an end to the negotiations and all offers were withdrawn. Look at the israeli "invasions" of palestine, all are in response to direct terrorist activity carried out by hezbollah and related terrorists (now their legally elected government).

I don't see how that is contradictory. Palestine is the aggressor, they launch attacks on Israeli soil, in response Israel invades to root out the terrorists that the palestinian government refuses to do anything about. They aren't particularly good aggressors, as they constantly pick fights out of their weight group, but they are definitely the ones picking the fights.

And by the way, just to remind you, that Palestine is a Roman invention, came up on the ruins of ancient Israel. The Palestinians, as we know them today, NEVER had a sovereign country there, but the Jews did have! The Palestinians of before 1947 were all Jews, Muslims, and Christians... History teaches us that there was a solution for the Palestinian Muslims back then to have their own land, but they refused it because they wanted the whole land for themselves, when it wasn't theirs on the first place... people with big eyes get nothing in the end!
They should stop acting like crying babies, grow up, and realize that Israel is not going to disappear,stop sending suicide bombers to Israel, stop preaching for hate and the hope for the destruction of Israel in the education system for little Palestinian kids, and start talking like human beings with the Israelis!!! Israel has peace with most of the countries in this world, because they are peaceful country, so try to talk to them without hate and violence, Then the Plalestinians might get their independence in their current territories! They have enough space in the Gaza strip and the West Bank to create another peaceful and successful Muslim state in the middle east, like Jordan and Egypt! Leave the Jews and the Jewish state alone already, the Jews have only one small tiny country in this world, and they can't even live in peace there...
