I've seen 1.5 I guess - I saw Dogma, and while I love Kevin Smith and I'm not Catholic something about it made me feel offended so I didn't care much for it. I saw half of Passion of the Christ, but I missed a lot of it. What I did see was good but so brutal it was hard to watch.

why isn't "saved" on that list?
I've seen a few of them and will comment on them because my work sucks ass at the moment. 2. The Passion of the Christ didn't shock or move me particularly. I didn't feel any great attachment to this portrayal of Jesus and got fairly bored of seeing the beatings etc. I think Mel's drunken rant about Jews is much more controversial, and shows what he really meant by the movie. 4. I didn't like Dogma. I don't like Ben Affleck or Matt Damon and thought the movie had far too much dialogue aimed at kissing their own asses for being so smart. 5. The Da Vinci code ... yawn. Dan Brown books annoy me as much as Matt Damon and Ben Affleck ... but the film/book introduced some ideas a lot of people hadn't heard before. All the fuss is over now. 6. Monty Pythons life of Brian is controversial ... but you really shouldn't take anything so seriously that a film like this would make you angry. I saw a film called Stigmata once which I think was more controversial than any of these that I've seen. It had me all angry at the church and reading books about knights templars and dead-sea-scrolls ... but I got over it (mostly). There are plenty of other things to get angry about which are much more current
I've seen The Life Of Brian. It's one of the funniest films ever. The idea that people still find it controversial is depressing.
life of brian, with the exception of a few scenes, isn't about religion at all. it's a parody of the time

"Life of Brian" is the only I have seen or have cared to see.

I've seen two, Dogma and The Prince of Egypt. The latter, thought very little of. The former, I have a field day seeing people go apoplectic over its themes.
