I own two Bibles, both gifts from my mom. I use them if I ever need to refer to a passage. The Bible is still a vital part of the canon.

I put it to good use. In the 90s I rented an apartment that had an old gas stove and the pilot-light sometimes went out. I probably went through about 40 pages before the landlord finally got around to fixing it. The bible was given to me by a door to door "salesman" that wouldn't take "no thank you" for an answer.

I have seven, and a few more books about Christianity that don't count for Bibles, really.
A couple of my bibles are big enough to maybe beat some goodness into some hypocritical holy-roller's! :p
