COMMENTS:
I thought Saw 1 and Saw 2 were really disturbing and violent.

I watched Saw 3 recently, at that one was way too disgusting. Much more so than the other two in my opinion.

However, the plot twists in all three were still very clever.

Havent seen Saw 3 yet, but I imagine its pretty much the same sort of stuff.

Too violent for "whom" ? They are rated 18 after all, and people know what they are expecting when they go to see such films. Not to mention the fact tht some people stick red hot pokers up their asses and electrocute each others balls for fun in REAL LIFE, so I doubt THEY will be offended by fictional violence.

Looks like something LadyS would use in her sexcerpades.

I saw the first and I was only mildly entertained. I am sooo biased when it come to horror films, the only one that I saw recently that fit the "horror genre" was Hostel.

Everyone knows that good horror was around in the early days up until the 90s. Everything thereafter was mostly shit.

Just keep the little kiddies away from seeing them and it'll be alright.

those movies are f-ed up. however, i recently saw rob zombie's movies and those were ten-fold more demented. what ever happened to the good horror movie format? now all they make are these shock-factor viscera crap movies.

I am a 17yo male and I have watched saw partly because if I didnt every1 I know would call me a sissy and all that stuff just because I dont want to see excessive violence. so I pretended to think all the excessive violence was SO cool and faked laughed a little when someone died, to act tough. I did however like the plot of the movie it was quite clever :) and it was not as violent as I thought it would be(maybe in america the cut some scenes out). but even if saw 2 and 3 are even more WAY TOO VIOLENT, I feel I have no choice since I dont want to be called sissy. :(

I don't like them. Normally I love & adore ANY horror movie, I watch them all the time, the messier the better..
But the Saw movies are stupid, so they fill the Stupid niche I guess!

The first one was alright, but nothing in the way of horror filcks scres me these days. Us old folk are too close to retirement to bother with fear.

Doctordraw - Saw 3 is much much more violent than the first two.

I think one really has to see Saw 1 and Saw 2 to understand Saw 3, because of all the plot twists.
