advice : relationship : IS MY MOTHER AN UNGRATEFUL COW?? [+] serious ballot by goth_girl created Fri Dec 08, 06 I won £5k's worth of holiday vouchers in Sept 06. I used £2k to take my son to Mauritius in Oct 06, gave £2k to my mum and brother to go to St Lucia next Feb 07, then used £1k for a holiday for myself next June 07 to New Zealand. My mother informed me three weeks ago that she would no longer be going on the holiday as she won't get holiday pay from work. I told her she should have told me to book it when she would get this pay and that as a result the £2k would be lost as the holiday is non-refundable, non-changeable and non-transferable to another name. She refused to take out travel insurance at the time I booked the holiday and says she does not care if the £2k is gone... Despite going to Mauritus I went half board because I was trying to spread the £5k around and share it. I could have gone all inclusive and used her £2k to have a holiday which didn't leave me in debt myself since it was so expensive there. Is my mother... Totally reasonable for what she has done? A stupid, selfish Cow? An ungrateful Cow? Perfectly justified in cancelling? Psychotic? Dysfunctional Exhibiting perfectly normal behaviour?
