I'm going to give you negative feedback for this ballot - You have spun this topic completely.
Also, You have given no option to state - I do not know what Ahmadinejad plans to do.
Firstly it isn't his prediction
He is allowing a conference to take place. The main purpose is to determine to what extent the holocaust happened. Did 6 million die/4 million/2 million. Surely it is fair enough to debate this. In Europe these poeple could be locked up for years for even suggesting these points.
These things should be open to debate in countries that should have freedom of speach.
Personally I reckon the holocaust did happen - I've seen enough evidence. As to the numbers, as with every conflict and genocide of this sort numbers are near impossible to state accuratly, so debating the numbers is perfectly healthy in my mind.
A slight exageration in numbers is no crime, not allowing people to discuss the figures IS a crime in my eyes.

Most likely the president of Iran will break with the mold and decide, like some of our crazier users, that the holocaust never happened, the jews are evil, and Irans 100% peaceful, civilian nuclear program, thank you Mr. Annan, will be dedicated to destroying Israel.

I read in The New York Times that David Duke said "that inventions about what happened to Europe’s Jews were part of a plot. He said, 'Depicting Jews as the overwhelming victims of the Holocaust gave the moral high ground to the Allies as victors of the war and allowed Jews to establish a state on the occupied land of Palestine.'" Sounds like a very bad attitude.
Shirer's book Rise and Fall of the Third Reich said that Hitler made an early attempt at Holocaust denial. He planned to pay a farmer to put a farm where a death camp was and say there had never been a death camp.

It isn't about debate. AMadJihad wants to use this as an opportunity to criticize Israel. If you believe otherwise then you haven't been paying attention. When a leader of a country says he wants to wipe another country off the map, you should take him at his word. If you think Israel is the only country he wants to take down, you are also naive. The US is the Great Satan to him.
Debating the numbers is a pretext for the anti-semitic nature of the debate. Evidence for this? No one ever questions how many gypsies, mentally ill, homosexuals, physically disabled, Jehovah's Witnesses, the 5 million non-Jewish victims (2/3 of which were Poles), Catholics (often clergy) and others. The questions are always about how many JEWS died. Questioning the numbers by asking "2 million" and other ridiculous numbers either shows the person is incredibly ignorant/stupid or they are a racist/anti-semite. I'm sure this ballot will be filled with cut and paste posts by known Holocaust deniers, "Rape of Nanking" deniers and other Japanese war crimes deniers like lovelynice and tank_girl.
Of course, all this crap coming from the leader of Iran. A country with one of the absolute WORST human rights records in the world.
Mr_Susan... do you have some agenda in rating this ballot down? I rarely see a ballot where the topic hasn't been spun. If you are going to rate this one down, I can point you to 50,000 others that deserve it too.

Ahmadinejad's best option is political vagueness on his own personal opinion, and suppport of FREE SPEECH no matter who gets offended.
It puts him on the Moral High Ground compared with those who obstruct any investigation - because any obstruction of FREE SPEECH makes those who seek to censor look suspiciously like they're hiding something.
That photo you have posted could be typhoid victims for all we know. I recall Fiddle had a photo on his userpage for awhile that was allegedly of a mass grave in Bergen-Belsen, which unfortunately for him, wasn't true, because there are no mass graves of such victims anywhere in Germany.

Who cares if it makes it less significant or not? The real point is why the constant attacks on anyone who chooses to debate it?
Maybe the numbers have been grossly exaggerrated - if so, then that is in fact an important detail to some people because they go out of their way to attack anyone who says "I don't believe it was six million"

hurricane - Unfortunately part of the meaning of God's Chosen People is that they were chosen not for privilege but for service, and to suffer the trials that service would bring--not only to them but to other people. Of course modern Jewish scholars debate the usefulness of this tenet.
It's also fairly ironic that Jews, Muslims, and Christians all ultimately worship the same God.
