Mot at all, apart from the fact that down's children have inherent heart problems, they are adorable just the way they are, thats how they were born and should be loved the same as any other child.

Tough question but i say no. I've seen many of these kids being mocked by other as a father i'd tempted to suggest a plastic surgery. However if you think about it it wouldnt change that much. So it's better to raise the kids self-esteem, give him lots of love and teach him to love himself over the insults he hears. That's a better "investment" methinks.

Screw that. We live in a world where perfection is beauty, and people constantly try to be a part of what others consider as beautiful. If I had a child with Downs Syndrome, I would let her/him be themselves... why should I have to make my child something they are not just for other peoples approval? Just so others can feel safe and secure knowing that there is a set guideline for outward features? No way.
By the way, damn good ballot.

What everyone else said about it being bad idea

No, this is essentially a human rights issue, unlesss the child is mentally mature and rational enough to consent to it, then no, otherwise the benefit of the doubt should be granted and the assumption that the child is quite happy with their looks should take precedence.

These children are still 'beautiful'.

Not sure. What would that say about society? I don't exactly support it but I can understand why a parent would want to sheild the child with down's syndrome from the cruel treatment of others. To be honest thinking about this makes me extremely sad.
What a stupid question. Who determines 'normal'? A person with Downs Syndrome has a lot more problems to overcome without worrying about their 'looks'. I do not understand why you are even asking such a ridiculous question!!
NO. This would be a terrible idea , as it seems to fix one of the many effects of Down's Syndrome.

God made them the way you are, society (and parents) should be proud of the person inside!
