COMMENTS:
Voted : Dr. Bob
I can't rember his last name, but he was featured on Good Morning America yesterday.

He's not a politician, an actor, or anyone we'll see in the news anytime soon. He's a man who in his mid 30s went back to college, went on to medical school, became a doctor, and opened a free practice in New York so that he could treat the poor. A nearby church is letting him live there because he and his wife can't afford a place of their own. He can't afford it because he puts others ahead of himself, still paying for his practice, and even pays for some of his patients' prescriptions.

Of course there's people like that all over if you look, but I think it would be nice for a change for someone like him to get it as a representation of all the 'little guys' who go beyond the call of duty to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

We need to recognize more 'Dr. Bobs 'for what they do. It just might inspire others.
