COMMENTS:
No race is absolutely 100% pure
Race has been the evil which allow different classes of people to disassociate themselves from others. For many "mixed" individuals, society tries to make you "choose" a race. Look at the Census Bureau! In all of their ignorant glory, they actually call Puerto Ricans a race. Are they stupid? Do they realize they are "mixed"? --Black, Indian and Spaniard. They call Latino & Hispanic a race? Same deal! And how are other "mixed" (black and white) individuals suppose to define themselves? They are forced to choose one! So what does this tell you? The Census Bureau, like many ignorant individuals, use race to define what social status and economic value you have... It's all about economics...On another note and on the other end of the spectrum...look at Brazil. Talk about another level of ignorance when it comes to race. Brazil has over 500 different races and it's all based on your features. As a matter of fact, two parents of the same "race" in Brazil can have a child of a different race. Crazy, no? It's base on how light you are, the texture of your hair, how full your lips are... BUT THEN AGAIN...isn't that we what do in America? And you have white people claiming that they are pure? What a joke. None of us. We base race on looks...but truly no one really knows. I can be as light as snow, with straight hair and blue eyes and be partly black... I can be a black as tar with kinky hair and assumed as Black... It's sad really. We are bound to such silly rules in this world. W/out knowing true history and God, it will continue.
Voted : The racial differences exist.
Just like school test scores, crime statistics and out-of-wedlock birth rates.
