The envelopes for the Christmas cards I mailed Friday are too small for their machines (it said 'not suitable for mailing' in short print on the back of their box, but really who looks at that shyt when they're picking out the Christmas card?) So we've just gone to buy 35 3cent stamps and 35 10cent stamps to add to each of them as they're returned to us. So instead of looking at the thing and delivering it for 39cent postage they're delivering every one back to me and then processing them a second time and delivering them a second time. And we paid $6 extra for all our cards to be delivered late! lololololol
I have to laugh at this :p

I have made several complaints about my postal service because they don't always deliver my mail. I'm always having to call the phone company to find out how much I owe because I don't receive my bills half the time. Yet if I want a duplicate bill sent, it cost $5. Sheesh!

With the caveat that it only gets this rating in comparison to other government programs. For a federally managed program it runs remarkably smoothly. If it were more like social security (for example), you'd have to pay for you postage years in advance, and then hope that there is enough left at the end to ship a tiny fraction of what you wanted to send out.

Now, who is first in line to let these guys run your health care? Anyone?

Better the government running our health care than neocons running our foreign policy, or anything else for that matter. The USPS has some credibility, while at this point, neocons have none.

Leave it to cracky/cranky, Head Libigot, to try to accuse neocons of all of Earth's ills.

Oops. cracky failed, again.116

Only dealt with them a couple times with their international service, but my parcels always came through in good time.
