Voted : dont care
When two (or more) individuals consent to be together in matrimony or otherwise I wish them well...there will always be people that may feel uncomfortable with relationships they consider out of the ordinary or possibly threatening to them whether it be actual or just a perception...(IMO)
well it seems that it does sense im being harrased so much...why do I have to date ONLY black men? ther are alot of other men than black men. there is a shortage of black men for some reason... I think we already know why.
sorry for the spelling. somebody spilled water on my laptop and now its kinda messing up. "since" "honkY"
you can't really give one answer to this question. with some people it's just the way they were raised. with others, they follow friends' actions. some probably take comfort in race divisions as it seperates them some from the masses. too many possible reasons to list.
Voted : doesnt matter
Love matters
Voted : because human being tend to classify
Pay no attention to what those tossers say to you, love. Important thing is that you and your fiancee fancy eachother. The rest of the world doesnt matter. You know, this ballot brings to my mind that anchorwoman from CNN International, the supreme nubian goddess, Isha Sesay. Ahhh what wouldnt i give to be called a cracker...
bugger, i voted for the wrong option. i should have been "doesnt matter"
Voted : doesnt matter
Doesn't matter at all. Don't worry about other people's problems. I guess I would qualify as a honky.
Im just really frustrated right now and i've been all year. because evrything in 2006 with me have been about race race race. the KKK are still here, Blacks rioting in france, The KRAMER incident..BLACK PANTHERS GOING ON TV TALKING ABOUT EXTERMINATING WHITE PEOPLE?? WHAAAAAAT?!? ARENT WE SUPOSED TO BE UNITED BY NOW?? ITS 2006 AND IT WILL SOON BE 2007. why are we still talking about a WORTHLESS subject like race?

It challenges people's sense of group identity and it isn't without merit to some extent.Different peoples and races have different collective sensibilities and since no one person is truely individual our group and family relationships factor in.It's learned behavior but I also defintely believe that it's engrained in our genes whether we're too proud to admit it or not.My wife is asian and I'm white. My family didn't mind but hers did mind, alot. They accept me now and I'm not angry anymore but in hindsite I can understand and somewhat appreciate their concerns because the differences definitely added unseen burdens to our relationship and it hasn't been easy quite frankly. That's your call though ...
Probably a symptom of some lingering resentment towards white males based on their roles and perceived roles as oppressors in (U.S.) history beginning with slave ownership. Even after slavery was abolished, institutionalized segregation continued for more than a hundred years; interracial marriage still wasn't fully legal until 1967. Segregation assured that white men and their offspring stayed in positions of dominance in society. In our culture, the feelings of resentment by women and minorities towards the centuries and millennia of white male superiority continue to manifest themselves in different ways, changing and diluting with each generation. Just be careful what you rely on to make generalizations and assumptions. The mass media (particularly T.V.) only shows you one freakish, sensationalized view of things. Case in point: the "New Black Panther Party".
Voted : It's a combination of sexism and racism
It is quite widespread, and for a lot of races, that it is mroe acceptable for some reason for males to go out with females of other races, but the other way around isn't. It's almost as if for some of the men of one race they somewhat own the females of their won race or something. It's silly and backwards, and such a thing should not matter.
People should be able to pari up with anyone of any race without being bothered about it by other people.
why are u making a big deal out of this stuff there are millions of blk ppl and only 300,000 thousands date outside of there race so date means the rest are dating black women why arent u taking polls to see how many black men are in love with there sistas because u dont care
Voted : doesnt matter
It does not matter because females are females and males are males. It that some are darker than others. Everybody is different. Personally I am a white guy that loves to date black women and I am from Mississippi. You dont see that much down here. It just dont happen like that down here.
Voted : because human being tend to classify
Crime statistics and out-of-wedlock birth rates might have something to do with it.
