I concur. You show your usual good sense. I'd rather have a British regiment behind our troops than a French regiment in front.
I thought Patton said I'd rather have a German army in front of me, then have a French army behind me? Ohh well, everyone knows that France sucks anyway.

British, and German, but one of the best special forces is The Italian Navy's COM SUB, During WWII, these elite special forces connected naval assualts on the british, included sinking 2, not 1 but 2 british battle ships, in the Alexandria harbour. So Powerfully skilled and Elite was this force that as a condition of the Peace Treaty italy was not allowed to train anymore of these naval troops, and there were disbanded until the treaty was ebolished. And Comando Truppe Alpine, which is skilled in fighting Alpine condititions, so good are they that the U.S government has asked for them specifically during the afghan war.
