Blue is associated with being sad or depressed..(the blues)...green is associated with envy/jealousy...
Then, there's a lot of negativity associated with the color black...blacklist,blackball,blackmail, just to name a few, here's a "black mood picture...
Red associated with power, strength, or rage...
