Why is it so hard for some to understand Athiests when these same people don't believe in any other god but their own?
Surely their dismissal (OUR dismissal, that is) of a creator, is of equal (ir)relevance to the supposed Christ and AntiChrist.

not believing in god is NOT the same thing as not believing that evil exists - or more accurately - that human beings are capable of evil, malicious deeds. Some of the ideas folks have about atheists are really pretty juvenile and ill-informed.
And - for the record - the world is neither good or bad - it's the people inhabiting it that bring good and bad to each other, as well as to the other life forms on this planet. Natural events such as storms, tsunamis, hurricanes do not have morals...... they are not "evil". They certainly can have negative impact on us, and sometimes we are indirectly responsible (don't build your house on a flood plain and not expect to be flooded....). However they are not orchestrated to "get" us. They are just aspects of our awesome, mysterious world - a world we will NEVER, with our puny human brains, completely comprehend.

Religeons are created by rock-star personalities and perpetuated by feelings for group belonging.By the time it has woven it's roots into culture you're already being conditioned,often from infancy on.You're up against the weight of your culture should you stray.Some supposed sciences and idealogies are much like this too.
Myself it took a long time to concider,without guilt or fear, that entire bible was a crock (IMHO of course)... a testament to the power of herd mentality.
