According to news sources, the planned memorial to Martin Luther King will cost $100 million while the George W. Bush library will cost $500 million.

Does that somehow seem wrong?

Given that trend, the Saddam Hussein memorial should cost $20 billion.

...I read about this and thought, considering the monies this Administration has wasted, this matter is small in comparison. The Bush supporters will see to it that this library materializes and I am willing to bet that Bush will have difficulities reading both books without assistance from a 12 year old...It is a disgrace to spend that amount of monies for his benefit when you have American children, elderly and others going to bed hungry and children attending inferior schools...What a waste and ashame...

Both of them are a waste of money.

I think a memorial could be made for far less than 100 million. Just as a library could me made for far less than 500 million.
