Voted : Yes, that sounds like them
Cranky, I'll bet you dollars to donuts that most neocons are at or below the poverty level. The vast majority of neocons are too stupid to factor in economic concerns when they cast their ballot.

First of all cranky America would never directly intervene in a war for Israel, that simply wouldn't fly in America or with the Israelis themselves.Secondly why do you and other liberals cotinue to link Israel with the so called NeoCon movement in this country when clearly the NeoCons are not the ultra-zionist you make them out to be.Case in point Bush has always said he was in favor of a two state solution and has even gotten Israel to give back some land to the PLO.Does that sound like the policy of a radical zionist regime?

I don't think we're fighting in Israel yet. Afghanistan and Iraq both are more than enough for now, and probably too much.

What exactly is a neocon?
by Applerod on Wed Jan 17, 07 6:04am [+]

Applerod:

"Who are the neoconservatives? The first generation were ex-liberals, socialists, and Trotskyites, boat-people from the McGovern revolution who rafted over to the GOP at the end of conservatism’s long march to power with Ronald Reagan in 1980.

A neoconservative, wrote Kevin Phillips back then, is more likely to be a magazine editor than a bricklayer. Today, he or she is more likely to be a resident scholar at a public policy institute such as the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) or one of its clones like the Center for Security Policy or the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs (JINSA). As one wag writes, a neocon is more familiar with the inside of a think tank than an Abrams tank.

Almost none came out of the business world or military, and few if any came out of the Goldwater campaign.

All are interventionists who regard Stakhanovite support of Israel as a defining characteristic of their breed. Among their luminaries are Jeane Kirkpatrick, Bill Bennett, Michael Novak, and James Q. Wilson. (American Conservative)

Corrupt:

From an article in the Weekly Standard, by William Kristol (a prominent neocon icon):

"Israel's War Is America's War, Too"

"For while Syria and Iran are enemies of Israel, they are also enemies of the United States."

"The right response is renewed strength...in standing with Israel, and in pursuing regime change in Syria and Iran. For that matter, we might consider countering this act of Iranian aggression with a military strike against Iranian nuclear facilities. Why wait? Does anyone think a nuclear Iran can be contained? That the current regime will negotiate in good faith? It would be easier to act sooner rather than later. Yes, there would be repercussions — and they would be healthy ones, showing a strong America that has rejected further appeasement."

"But such a military strike would take a while to organize. In the meantime, perhaps President Bush can fly...to Jerusalem, the capital of a nation that stands with us, and is willing to fight with us, against our common enemies. This is our war, too."

Alright but Kristol is not a policy maker or major player in government so his ideas probably won't materialize in the real world.Instead if we look at the so called NeoCons who are in government we see that they are far from Zionist. It seems to me that liberals have taken the old Zionist world domination conspiracy theory and remade it to suit their political agenda.Instead of a kabbal of religious jewish leaders who are trying to take over the world through Marxism it's the Neocons and the Bush "crime family" who are ushering in the jew world order.
