Because at least fifteen of the bastiches lived within two miles of me, before Governor Perdue passed the law banning them to live within a thousand feet of a bus stop. Still keep an eye out anyway, and I never let my niece come home alone from the bus stop.
I have 3 boys, i always check it, and i show the boys who to look out for and warn them of the dangers....i've explained to them that some people sexually molest, torture and even eat little children and i give them very sharp pencils to walk with to poke their eyes out if need be

What's scary are the ones that are not on the registry. I have someone who lives very close to me who fits the profile of a pedofile perfectly. His father is actually wanted by the FBI for that very reason. His sister has already been taken in for involvement in the same pedophile ring. I have no proof of his guilt, but the way that this guy I'm talking about acts around his grand-daughter and flirts with other young girls is just sickening.
I have two kids and I've taken the time a few times to familiarize myself with all the local skinner mugshots.

^ Your states public safety division should have a link to one on their website. You'll probably be surprised at how many are in your area and how many you know and have seen in places that they aren't supposed to be at.

thc, good for you! Even people without kids should keep up on the freaks in the neighborhoods cause you knowing some guy grabbing some childs arm is infact some freak on meganslaw and not her dad or uncle can save her life and/or a lot of heartache! Good job :)
