I have it on authority from a good friend that Larry is doing fine now. Here's what happened.

He was playing basketball and somehow landed on his chest, causing a fragment of a bone to damage an artery, which caused a clot. The clot was dissolved but he does have some heart damage. They did a procedure that inflated a balloon against the heart (angioplasty?) that will ease its work load. With medication, the doctors say he will be fine and may even be discharged from hospital this weekend. He said he will post a message as soon as he has access to a computer.

PHEW! I'm so relieved.
