CARBON FOOTPRINTS [+] serious ballot by larrynelmira ACTIVE Mon Jan 29, 07 - Tue Jan 29, 08 was in Philadelphia to visit my aunt, and Prince Charles was there as well, not to visit my aunt of course but to see the liberty bell and talk about carbon footprints, it was told he took a commercial flight and not private to cut back on his carbon emissions, although he did cause a traffic jam, and took a private train to NYC. In the same story on a related note, they were telling how President Nixon once took a commercial airlines to his California White House, to show by example need to save energy, what was not known at the time apparently, passengers were bumped to accommodate his staff and security and Air Force One flew ahead of his flight, incase he had to get out of town in a hurry. What is this all about you may ask? Do you believe when people travel the earth to promote clean air they are actually causing more pollution and headache, or in the long run their work does show people we need to do more to help our environment.
