Flying cars, one step closer to Mel Brooks' "jews in space". In response hamas has begun testing smaller, more aerodynamic rocks that could perhaps be thrown hard enough to knock this thing down. Clearly this is the beginning of a new arms race.
Voted : another vaporware
there's been a guy in California who's been promising a "flying car" for the last 20 years. He also claims to have made successful short trips, but he's been taking deposits and haven't delivered one yet. if you compare his website against this guy (with his crude drawings) they are essentially the same concept and design. Only practical "personal flying aircraft" I have seen recently are the "personal dirigible" filled with helium. They are available right now, but it has obvious limitations that are numerous.

Herzog would love to ride in one, as long as it isn't painted in camo.

Sounds interesting however I wonder how much gas it would use and what the effect on the environment would be.I don't know what it is but Israel always seems to be on the cuting edge of technology.

Wouldn't mind it at all.

I wonder if they'll get a civilian version of this anytime soon. It would be useful in traffic jams.
The military also invented microwaves, so it's possible something will come of it.
