Not all cruelty is done out of a desire for money. Certainly there is a significant amount, but there are plenty of other examples in which desire for money was not a factor.
Furthermore, money itself is not what causes such a problem, but rather what money represents. In other words, if money were completely removed from the planet, the problems of 'evil' would just adapt to some other form of desire.

But i think money helps and can create happiness too...i know i am more unhappy when i can't have things. Like money can buy boats and big screen TV's and trailers and pools ,dirt bikes and toys and more beer and porn
oh and bibles too for when we're feeling guilty about our guilty pleasures, it can buy bibles!
