of an unspecified origin, at an unspecified time and place, using data that has not been confirmed by non-government sources, and they refuse to tolerate any questioning of their proclamations (denouncing as shills for bin-laden anyone who asks for clarification), is it fair to be skeptical?

In other words, is it ok to question an organization whose continued funding depends on finding problems (so they have a bias) when they make vague announcements like this (no concrete conclusion), when they do not tolerate dissenting opinions (no outside verification from unbiased sources), and they routinely made inaccurate or misleading claims like this in the past (history of false claims)?

And note, this isn't refering to a terrorist attack that has already happened and is part of historical fact, this is solely a prediction issued from this obviously biased source.

They seem to happen around elections and when Bush's popularity sags or if he has done something dumb that they want to distract people from.

Hmm . . . the majority would be ok with questioning this declaration.

So, its either that the majority are secretly in league with the terrorists, or that it's ok to remain skeptical of theories that fit the description I've laid down. Interesting . .
