WHY A WALL AT THE MEXICAN BORDER BUT NOT THE CANADIAN ONE?

[+] joke ballot by Psycho_Frighead
ACTIVE Wed Feb 14, 07 - Mon Nov 09, 09

It would be pointless. U.S. policy keeps more Canadians out than any wall ever could
Because we want more people like Michael J. Fox and Nathan Fillion in the USA. Makes us look good.
Canadians are frozen solid, they can't run
Canadians can't run fast enough to get across the border
Its too cold for any workers to build one
There should be walls at both the Canadian and Mexican borders
Canadians don't need to find work in the US
Canada is really the 51st State..eh?
Best beer's in Canada, eh?
Bcoz Canada is 2big to ignore and 2white to invade

BTW, I know this is a "joke ballot", its just that I don't really like to joke about something I take so seriously.

There are not many brown people in Canada...

... Mexicans are the latest target of yahoos who need to blame something for the problems of their little world

We need a GIGANTIC razerwire wall to keep the mexicans out. Canadians are fine at least all my friends in Canadia are, at least they speak English041

Steel ever considered a country has the right to regulate immigration and monitor everyone coming into their country? Or do you always assume that racism is the real agenda behind everything that doesn't go brown people's way?

Given that there are more illegal aliens coming from mexico than canada a US-Mexican wall is more of a priority atm.

Will French Canadians be barred from the USA because they dont speak English?

Canadians cross the US border all the time, and with impugnity... immigration should be monitored, but the foaming at the mouth reaction is way OTT

Voted : It would be pointless. U.S. policy keeps more Canadians out than any wall ever could
Not all Canadians would want to live here, with the likely exception of Florida.

If I was American I would be extremely worried about illegal Canadian immigrants. You just cant trust those sneaky Canadian bastards, I know they have some huge secret hidden agenda. No country can be full of nice, honest, hardworking people, there is definitely some kind of mass Canadian plot to takeover America. Just listen to your Neil young album, which is guaranteed to be full of hidden subliminal messages, or watch the latest Jim Carey film. And Calvin & Hobbes cartoons are full of hidden Canadian propaganda…

Canada and America have a lot more in common in pretty much EVERY respect (average income, language, culture etc).

Steels reaction is a typical example of liberal paranoia concerning skin colour.

I still dream of moving to the Bay area one day. Lots of Canadians live there. Is smoking pot still a bad thing to do down there?

I would not call genuine concern paranoia.

The whole immigration debate seems to be about stigmatising and blame and nothing about the contribution in my experience.
