...Or a unreliable, unmanageable behemoth ? Post 9/11 scramblings to ensure the various U.S. "spy" Agencies more effectively shared, utilized, and assessed their separately acquired intel data to have a more accurate composite of threats, activities, movements, and trends to better secure and protect this Countries' vital interests was to prevent occurences from happening again...do you think it was a good idea to "centralize" the Agencies into one, large, entity ? Do you think the intel is more reliable now ? Is some intel being used out of context to verify accusations which may be unproven ?

Homeland security Dept is more efficient
Homeland security Dept is less efficient
Some assessements is political
Homeland Security is a better configuration than before
Having separate Agencies is better
Spy Agencies' cultures are/were compromised

COMMENTS:
Voted : Having separate Agencies is better
Giant bureaucracies are all the same: unaccountable, inefficient, wasteful, incompetent, and slow. The Department of Homeland Security will be no different. It's just another multi-billion dollar Bush boon-doggle.
