My husband just says "this is my buddy so and so" He always says buddy while introducing! He calls the guys that work at places Chief when he needs help with something, for example "hey cheif, where's the windex at?"
But if he is JUST meeting a person, he says "Sup bud."
So...i'd have to say bud.
