You mean when blacks in the south couldn't vote, sat in the back of the bus and got lynched?

Voted : Five and Dime Rx
I miss Woolworth's. They closed up here in the 90's. They did not have a good business plan. You could buy stuff from them you could not get anywhere else, but they were also keeping alive alot of small companies that could not sell their stuff anywhere else. This is what an employee told me the last day they were open. Also, his will tell you something about them: the last day they were open, they brought out old stock from the 1950's they had been holding on to. I do miss Woolworth's, but they let themsleves go down the tubes.

I miss the old penny sweets, blackjacks and fruit salads. I cant seem to find them anywhere anymore.

As for mobile phones, I refuse to own one.

Hey Passiveon, I wonder how many times some people of color make a similiar comment in their daily lives, "I just couldn't possibly get through my day without be spoken too in a disrespectful manner, or, followed around in a clothing store, or pulled over by law enforcement driving while Black or non people of color (some, not all) look in my general direction with fear, or disdain, or being turned down for another housing loan, or paying high interest loans, etc, etc, etc..."

When one speaks and refer to the good ole days, others may wonder, the good ole days for whom?
