The PR industry trade publication PR Week hosted a debate based on the proposition

"PR practitioners have a responsibility to tell the truth". One side held with the premise

"Truth and integrity have to be the cornerstones of our profession if we are to have any

credibility with the media and the wider world". The winning side held the premise that

"If we are not prepared to lie , we cannot do our job successfully".

Which premise do you favour?
