At night, when I am in bed, one of the most pleasant sounds that waft through my window is the purr of the engine of a small propeller plane, flying low above the city, to points unknown. I have liked this sound ever since I was a little girl. Do you find this kind of sound relaxing?

I live at the top of a hill on a landing approach path to Pittsburgh International Airport and believe me, it really gets to be annoying after a while.

And to you guys in the three black helicopters I always see, do you have to fly so low on your way back to the 911th Airlift Wing?
