I won't give karma brazenly, but will choose ballots/comments that I prize as worthy, yet neglected to reward in the past.

Just a few points:
1) Your assertion that I had something to do with herzog being punished by LCD for behaving like a spoiled brat and arrogantly breaking the rules is ridiculous. LCD punished herzog for behaving like a lying little jerk, and in response, herzog went squealing off into the night.
2) Your belief that BBC and I did have some impact is an ugly show of disrespect toward LCD, who does his very best to manage this site, despite the self-centered, dishonest, behavior of various assholes.
3) herzog has as much right to post here as LCD says he does. It's LCD's site, his property, not herzog's. LCD gets to set the rules. If you don't like it: tough. You want a website where herzog can have total control, why don't you build him one and pay for it?

If he doesn't understand the simplest instruction, that doesn't take any effort on his part to do, I am not going to kiss up to him, especially when he cost me time and effort to wipe his mistakes.

Actually, Kev, I really, really like you, but I didn't quite match your description. I also have gotten along with cranky for spells, then I wouldn't. Let's call it a like-dislike kind of thing. Right now, I'm pissed off about the misleading Charles Lindbergh photo he posted.
I probably get along with herzog and agree with him more, but only agree maybe 65% of the time, then he goes off on some flag-waving rave for George Dubya, and he loses me. I'm just an aging, agnostic, occasionally mean-spirited Libertarian cynic. I can only stand so much "rah-rah-rah!"

lcd, come on. you're going too far now. it's not just me that thinks that. how many other users on here mention those sites? lots. so if a user mentions them in a ballot, like in a scenario where they say "can you believe herzog put up a source from xxx.com" are you going to punish them too?

so to clear it up, you need to clearly outline this new policy none of know about and then have people read it and understand it.
so write it and then have herzog read it and tell you he understands it and then start fresh and give him back what you took away. then if he or any of us violate it, fine.
