Well I just figure leaders try to keep us all from revolting by distracting us with teams and olympics and fighters. As much as our governments should fear us, we can't help but enjoy seeing someone else get their head kicked in or someone else lose teeth, etc. And we can't help but support our favorite athletes or teams, the same attitude they love to see us in when they go to war. But anyway, what gets your violent desires extinguished, or do you play Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas like most people?

You can always guarantee that a few soccer-mom/parents will go apeshit at the ref/umpire or at another parent. Some parents have even attacked the players.

San Andreas is a good way to feel like your getting revenge on a whole state of people. Being a virtual mass murderer is so legitimate and utterly fun. And a good UFC fight never hurts, .. spectators anyways.

Im not sure If I should watch it anymore; its amazing how quickly civilised revulsion and amazement can turn to excitement and bloodlust. Not qualities I want to encourage in myself.

Boxing gets the balance of competitive entertainment and bloodlust just about right for me. I am just a man after all.

First rugby match i ever saw, a guy had the ball stripped from him, and then had his testicles stepped on for good measure. When he goot up and chased down the guy who stomped him, I was hooked. Shame I can't get more than a bit here and there on TV.

I play sunday league football here in England, and it can get quite violent. Last year we had this Russian referee who had no idea what he was doing, and he started insulting some of the black fella's on our team. The game ended in a mass brawl, which was a shame because we were winning.

Don't forget though, we've been completely desensitized to violence in the last 50 years, most people can laugh at a beheading. But sex is still the big dirty! Don't you think the worlds priorities have gone backwards? Still, in todays alpha male societies, women are thought of as distracting and weaknesses in the eyes of the "enemies". And thats how you get poor treatment of women, but its okay because violence is diplomacy there. I find it odd and strangely funny that over the last thousand years life has been that way. It's almost as if the leaders wanted to turn the world into their own everyman's fantasy, being able to kill in the name of God, talking down on women like their all prostitutes, conquering countries for no reason except how they want to spread their influence. But I'm getting too deep now again, the point is, why is violence seemingly more important than sex? OOO, poll idea, later!
