I doubt terrorists will change their attitudes towards America, no matter who is in charge of the country. Perhaps a different policy by the democrats would have some effect...

Al Queda was plotting 9/11 when the Democrats were in power. They didn't stop when the Republican took over. Why would they change their attitudes when it goes back?

I'm not sure if the aims will change but if the person in the White House doesn't fight back, doesn't have the stomach to do what is necessary, and is wishy washy then it will make a difference in what actions the terrorists take. If they see weakness more severe terrorist actions will take place.
