I feel that we should. There's no good reason to advertise alcohol, unless you're working for a company that sells booze. Same thing goes for cigarettes. Both of those things should be completely banned from advertising.

Oh I think so. If ceasing the advertising saves just one person from becoming an addicted boozehound like myself, it will have been worthwhile.
The trouble is that alcohol companies spend billions worldwide on advertising every year. If they don't spend it on legitimate advertising as we know it now, what will they spend it on?

I think we should stop advertising pharmaceuticals. The U.N reported last week that the world's use of presicription drugs is out pacing the use the illegal narcotics. It would be a real shame for illegal narcotics to lose it's first place standing.
