Here's the image
I think that one should aim for neither conformity nor all-out rebellion.
Too many people think they have to pick one or the other.
Voted : Neither, just be true to yourself
^What nuckinfutz said.
Voted : Always be yourself, it's the best thing you can be!
Yep!
Be yourself, yeah, But are you a rebel or a conformist?
Voted : Rebel to confrom, conform to rebel
It always ends up with the opposite effect really... didn't anyone see SLC punk? You have to end up conforming along the way to keep a job dude.
The 'necessity' of conformity notwithstanding, rebellion over comfort: in order to challenge--in one way or another--the status quo.
I guess according to "society standards" i'd be a rebel
Be yourself, yeah, But are you a rebel or a conformist? by passiveson on Thu Mar 15, 07 12:53pm Why does one have to be one or the other extreme?
Voted : Rebel
I would rebel against what I thought should be rebelled against. I wouldn't conform to what I believe in because I would already be doing it. So I guess that makes me a rebel of sorts.
if everyone conformed - we would never make any progress
Don't think in terms of conformity or rebellion, just be yourself whatever that may be, follow your inner natural ways, your family, etc. Do whatever feels natural. Does being rebellios in one way or the other feel natural? Then do it. If you like conventional things and tradition and being part of a crowd comes natural to you, then do it. If you think of the grand scheme of things, with the way this world works, you can't have one without the other.
It's natural to some personalities.
Voted : Rebel
It's natural to Me.
