Snow Job

Yesterday, White House Press Secretary Tony Snow asserted President Bush's rights of "executive privilege" in not allowing his aides to be questioned by Congress under oath. However, the Chicago Tribune dug up a 1998 column written by Snow in which he felt differently.

"Evidently, Mr. Clinton wants to shield virtually any communications that take place within the White House compound on the theory that all such talk contributes in some way, shape or form to the continuing success and harmony of an administration."

"Taken to its logical extreme, that position would make it impossible for citizens to hold a chief executive accountable for anything."

Does it appear that White House spokesman and pretty boy, Tony Snow, is flip-flopping on the concept of executive privilege?

Well of course, he's flip flopping, but in his defense, I don't think he got the job of Press Secretary for his ability to think for himself. He's a PR guy who is there to spin for the Republican White House and make them look credible. It's not an easy job. I can't imagine that anybody believes he actually thinks what he says.

I watched a clip of Tony Snow arguing with some News guy today on the internet. Tony came across like such a big stupid baby. What a total loser he is. I hate him.
