That is the position of Bush, many Republicans and his supporters...They have been sending Americans to their deaths based on a LIE for over 4 years.
Bush is always singing those same lame songs, "Ooooh, Weeee will staaaaay the Courrrrssssse, Oooooh, Weeeee will continuuuuue the fight againt Terrrrrorissssmmmm, Ooooooh, Weeeee will make surrrrre that the Iraqi peeeeople get their freeeeeeedooooommmm, etc, etc, etc..."
The Democrats aren't the only ones fighting to get the Troops home, check out the latest polls...The Republicans and the supporters of Bush aren't the ones doing the dying, coming home with ugly physical mutilations and many are/will become psychological damaged, many of these soldiers will NEVER be the same.
So, the H*ll with peoples' notion that the Democrats are soft on defense, say what you think, feel and will, Bush was a lying piece of sh*t when he claimed that Saddam had weapons of mass destructions... And rather than admitting he was wrong and that the Americans can NOT and will NOT win in Iraq and Iran, he continues to stand by and watch Americans continue to die... Sheesssh, unbelieveable...

the democrats are giving more money than Bush asked - but instead of giving it directly to Halliburton, they want to spend it on medical help for the troops, Afghanistan, body armor, stuff like that. Don't think they're weak at all -

Soft on defense implies that an open ended war in Iraq is in America's best interests, which I don't agree with. Iraqis will need to defend themselves at some point.
I do support our troops, I just think the war is misguided.
I support the Troops, I served over 8 years myself, those of you who are hardcore Bush lapdog supporters who believe that the Troops should remain in Iraq, why don't you all suit up and go to Iraq yourselves and die for your lying, arrogant, apparently drugged up, ignorant, mad cowboy disease sufferer and pathetic President?

I don't think a conservative element can support a case with respect to bringing troops home from a war of irresponsibility. Claiming the democrats don't want to support the troops or give a damn about our brave men and women in uniform is nothing but an unsubstantiatable dissent into ignorance.
The fact that troops were sent to Iraq or Afghanistan in the first place is an injudicous malfeasance more qualifying of the accusation of apathy for the lives of American Service men and women. Is there one reasonable justifacation that can be presented supporting an argument of necessity to defense since the pretense for the war was fallacious in the first place.
The loss of American lives there is inexcusable is the rational party's policy in supporting and caring about our troops.
Those guilty of not supporting or caring about our service men and women are identified by their willingness to risk our soldier's lives in combat absent necessity of defense, but are to cowardly to place themselves in harms alongside the soldier.
Would the democrats have waged this war in opposition of the better judgement of the international community, or absent NATO support? Since our withdrawal from Vietnam, can precedence be cited favoring the sacrafice of American soldiers when our Nation's Security isn't an issue?
Was Iraq's imposing posture satisfactory to meet sufficient criteria of a clear and eniment threat to justify the insurgence?
Noblese_Oblige and NewGirl, Cite your logic why our soldiers should be in Iraq and Afghanistan? Put up or shut up!

The mission IS NOT VALUABLE! It has been a waste of lives and money from the very beginning.
The only people who have profited from it are the War Profiteers like Haliburton and Bush and his oil corporate cronies.
This unwinable mission has been paid for with the blood of many fine young Americans and innocent Iraqi's.

Isn't it a little unusual to put someone who hasn't been here since your arrival and whom you're unfamiliar with as a favotite user?
It seems congruent with logic that a person who respects your opinions might opt to list you as a favorite because of good character. Isn't that why you list them on your's? I could be wrong, it's just my observation and opinion.
Criticism is unintentional here, but I'd like to hear how you qualify the credibility of the accusation that democrats don't care about the troops when they clearly want to take them out of harms way? Would you mind elaborating on that?

Any reasonably intellegent person is capable of articulating a comprehensive explaination to support a stated opinion or clarify an answer to a simple question.
Otherwise, it would be derelict in stating something outrageous ignorant absent verity. Maybe you're being to harsh. Perhaps if we're patient, she might prove her valor before her peers.
