For the record.

I hope not, but it's hard to say for sure. Slavery is still deep rooted in some countries (Madagascar comes to mind) so it's hard to predict how one would behave if raised in that particular context.

Slavery is still legal and rampant from the fields of West Africa to the brothels in Tel Aviv. Sick ƒu¢king people.

Yep, and set him/her free.
^ I agree with Rama, I would not like the idea of buying another human being. However, if in doing so guarantees their shot at freedom, let it be written, let it be done
very simple way to stop slavery is to put a bounty on sellers and reward on the buyers. that way any buyer can turn sellers in after the transaction and earn the rewards, then set the slave free. until then, "buying slaves" would only perpetuate the commerce. Although faced with the circumstances, I probably would too.

No way! Then I'd have to feed, cloth & shelter them. I'm having a hard enough time taking care of myself!

Slavery is still legal, it's just that they call it working for the minimum wage and supporting children.

The traditional black one, no. A newfangled white slave, that would be nice. And I'd treat him very well.

I would buy slaves and then officially file the necessary paperwork to have them freed.
