Let the price gouging begin!

Hurricanes
Terrorism
First quarter profits for 2007 not on projected target
Warmer weather
Halliburton not completing projects on schedule due to Iraqi insurgents
Need money for double chin removal surgery
The wind has changed directions
The many Bush scandals are providing them cover to raise prices
The Iraq Oil Deal Fell Through
Bush owns oil stocks and needs money to cover up his involvement in 9/11...
All of the above and I blame the tooth fairy too.
$3 a gallon? Where can I go for this? :)

I love how people blame this on Bush, you better face the facts, EVERY politician in Congress has accepted money from oil companies, EVERY one of them, be it campaign donations, lobbyists, etc. Oil companies are smart, they know that by filling the coffers of politicians with a bunch of cash, they will get what they want.

Oh yes, you have Senator A calling for 'senate hearings, it's an outrage' but behind the scenes he and every other senator let the oil companies know "We have to do this to make the public think we are doing something about high gas prices, don't worry, you won't be forced to make changes to your policies" and then pat one another on the back.

^^ I hear you, Jappy. $3.00 sound mighty good right about now.

Amazing.

Exxon Mobil fell short again of their expected quarterly profits last week, yet still managed to set a record...

...for the largest quarterly profits ever. 017
