Here in Elmira, there is a motel that a local charity and the State Of New York uses to house newly released sex offenders.

The motel is also open to the public, they tell you about the offenders , but if you choose to do so, you and your family can get a room, frolic in the pool do whatever.

Would you check into this motel with your family?

If I had a family, no I would not check in with them. The risk of an incident would no doubt be tiny, but I get the impression that even tiny is too big a risk with a family.

Not just NO!; but, HELL, NO! They wouldn't want ME in there either. Those people got RIGHTS, y'know? And, ironically? I don't give a FIG about THEIR rights when it comes to MY family. So, I'm a hypocrite. Everyone's hypocritical about SOMETHING. I'll just save them the trouble, and go elsewhere!

Hell no, that is horrible...i think they should throw hese guys out of the hotel and into the streets and let homeless/very poor fatherless women and children have the motel!
