Jobs being exported, cheap illegal labor, misled, mismanaged military, jobs lost due to underpriced imports, superinflated medical costs, deluded leaders, moral decay, and this is just a few of the problems we are facing, and those (chosen ?) to lead just doesn't seem to "get it"...this reminds me of an old Temptation record, Ball Of Confusion...

I'm looking for some kind of Jimmy Carter style slander to be levied upon this guy. The only problem that I have with his statement is "The most famous business leaders are not the innovators but the guys in handcuffs" should read "The most famous business leaders should be in handcuffs".

I would hardly say the Washington Post, the New Times, and the rest of the media which is left wing are waving pom-poms. So he's wrong about the press. No, the President is not given a free pass to ignore the Constitution. It is true that he has not held true to it, and that is of course a problem- but that does not mean he can completely disregard all that he wanted in the Constitution altogether- if could have, he would have already. Was the Iraq War really a pack of lies? That is not proven as fact. And while there is trouble in Iraq, I would hardly say that "nobody knows what to do", in fact, it is the opposite, many people have differing views of what should be done, but nonetheless, many do ahve a vision of what should be done.
So, the American media is not a homogenous group all cheering Bush on, the President is not capable of violating everything he wants in the Constitution, it is not yet known whether the mistake of the Iraq war was because of lies or because of incompetence (many outside the US who opposed the war even believed Iraq's nuclear weapons program was more advanced than reality), and there is no problem of not knowing what to do in Iraq- it is the opposite, there is plenty of division in the US of what should be done (eg- Obama's view vs. Hillary's views). Lee Iaccoca is mostly wrong.
